National Joint Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine has reported a net income of UAH 112.76 billion for 2015, which is higher by 51% than in the previous year, according to financial statements posted on the company`s website.
Gross profit of Naftogaz in 2015 amounted to UAH 12.5 billion against a loss of UAH 11 billion in 2014. However, the company`s net loss in 2015 amounted to UAH 25 billion, as compared to a net loss of UAH 89.9 billion in 2014, according to the report.
UNIAN memo. State holding Naftogaz of Ukraine is in the process of reorganization of its management bodies. As part of reforming NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine`s management, the Cabinet of Ministers on December 7, 2015, adopted new articles of association of the company and transferred 100% of the company`s shares, which were owned by the state, under the management of the Ukrainian Economy Ministry.
The new articles of association are the basis for reforming the state holding, being agreed with the country`s key creditor – the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
