The National energy holding Naftogaz of Ukraine plans in 2016 to transfer to the state budget some UAH 60 billion in taxes, that`s according to the company CEO Andriy Kobolev who gave a briefing in Kyiv earlier today, December 15.
”We are planning to pay to the budget UAH 60 billion in taxes,” he said, adding that this amount is about 10% of Ukraine`s total tax revenues.
Kobolev reported that the amount of tax to be paid by Naftogaz exceeds the cost of public subsidies for utility services by UAH 25 billion.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Naftogaz expects to have received by the end of 2016 some UAH 21 billion of net profit.
At the end of 2015, Naftogaz reported UAH 25 billion of net loss, while in 2014, net loss was at UAH 89.9 billion. The company`s gross profit in 2015 amounted to UAH 12.5 billion against a UAH 11 billion loss in 2014. The company completed 2015 with a net income of UAH 112.76 billion, which is 51% more than in 2014.
