Murder of journalist: Sheremet, his partner Prytula ”complained of being followed” – Media

A journalist working for the Ukrainska Pravda online newspaper, who was killed in a car blast earlier today, (July 20), and his significant other had complained of being followed, according to Novaya Gazeta, citing the couple`s close friends.
The car being used by Pavlo Sheremet belonged to Olena Prytula, his common-law wife and the owner of Ukrainska Pravda, according to his friends.
Ms Prytula was not in the car at the time of the explosion, according to the report.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the acclaimed journalist was killed in a car explosion in the center of Kyiv on Wednesday morning.
Police have tentatively ruled the incident a homicide.
Ukraine Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko stated that the blast occurred due to an explosive device. ”This is murder,” he said.
