More irregularities at Rada elections than at presidential elections – Poroshenko headquarters

A certain increase in the number of voting irregularities has been recorded at the current early elections for the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine compared to the May 2014 presidential elections.
Roman Zvarych, deputy head of the headquarters of the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko, said this at a briefing on Sunday, a Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“If we compare [the current parliamentary elections] with the presidential elections four months ago, we can record an insignificant, but still noticeable growth of various kinds of violations,” Zvarych said.
He noted that these irregularities would not have a decisive effect on the election results. “Violations are not systematic, that is they are not recorded across the country, but concern specific single-member constituencies,” he said.
