Mobilization starts in Ukraine

January 20, the first wave of mobilization in 2015 has started in Ukraine.
The relevant Law No. 113-VIII “On partial mobilization” has been published in the Voice of Ukraine parliamentary newspaper.
According to the document, mobilization in 2015 will be conducted in three stages during 210 days.
“The need for partial mobilization in Ukraine is caused by the threat to the national independence and the territorial integrity, by the necessity to maintain combat and mobilization readiness of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military groups at the level to ensure the adequate response to the menaces to the national security,” reads the Law.
As reported, January 19, 2015, President Poroshenko signed the law on partial mobilization.
