Minsk receives tripartite group on Donbas

A tripartite contact group on holding negotiations and settlement of the situation in Donbas has to meet in Donbas today.
A Ukrinform correspondent reports.
As the agency reported, participating in negotiations will be the OSCE representative, Russian Ambassador to Ukraine Mikhail Zurabov and Second President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko believes that resumption of work of the tripartite contact group will promote effective implementation of the peaceful plan for Donbas and settlement of the situation through negotiations. The parties have to discuss the release of hostages, who are illegally kept on the territory of Russia, work of the OSCE Monitoring Mission on the Ukrainian-Russian border and a cease-fire format.
The previous meeting of the tripartite contact group was held in Donetsk on June 27.
