Military drills Anaconda-2016 start in Poland

International military drills”Anaconda-2016” start in Poland. The opening ceremony is set to be held on Monday, June 6th, in National Defense University in Warsaw, Ukraine Today reports.
According to the official website, the upcoming event will be the third to encompass international scale. This year the participants` list includes from 19 NATO member states, as well as six partner states, including Ukraine, from a joint program ”The Partnership for Peace,” according to Ukraine Today.
”The drills are aimed at elaborating the means of joint operations and coalition command during a joint defence operation under hybrid war conditions,”reported in the official message of the event.
Maneuvers are to be taken on seven basic platforms under international staff command. Along with 31,000 soldiers from 25 countries 3,000 units of military equipment are to be used during the drills, with 105 aircraft and 12 warships among them.
Earlier in June NATO military drills BALTOPS 2016 kicked off in the southern part of the Baltic sea close to Sweden, Denmark, and Poland.
