Militants remove up to 25 wagons of coal from Donbas

Militants try to illegally remove coal and scrap metal from the ATO area, in particular, over the recent months, border guards detained more than 10,000 tonnes of coal without proper documents.
Spokesman of the NSDC Information-Analytical Center Andriy Lysenko told a briefing, Ukrinform’s correspondent reports.
“In total, over recent two months, border guards detained more than 10,000 tonnes of “black gold” without proper documents,” he said.
According to him, only yesterday, at the railway station Volnovakha, the border guard patrol, while examining the goods train that moved from the occupied territories, found 25 wagons, loaded with coal, and 22 railway cars with ferrous scrap, totaling 3,267 tonnes that had no the necessary shipping documents.
Lysenko noted that control over removal of goods and cargoes, transported via the entry/exit checkpoints from the ATO area, is strengthened within the frames of fulfillment of the tasks, set by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
