Russian mercenaries offer UAH 1,000 to residents of Torez who will agree to exchange Ukrainian citizenship for Russian citizenship.
National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) information and analytical center spokesman Andriy Lysenko said this at a briefing on Thursday, a Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“According to current reports, in Torez, Donetsk region, militants are conducting a campaigning among local residents to collect information and produce passports of citizens of the Russian Federation. Russian mercenaries offer about UAH 1,000 for changing nationality,” Lysenko said.
