Terrorists have shelled the positions of Ukrainian military 44 times over the past 24 hours, the press center for the anti-terrorist operation has reported on its Facebook page.
“Last night bandits fired at our units stationed near the settlements of Pisky and Mykolaivka. Checkpoints, strongholds and observation points were shelled with small arms near Debaltseve, whereas Kamianka and Pavlopil came under mortar fire. The anti-terrorist operation forces fired back and destroyed the firing points of militants,” reads the report.
The press center also said that Ukrainian troops had sustained losses, with four soldiers being killed. Eighteen soldiers were injured and are now in hospitals.
