Mi-2 helicopter crash near Kramatorsk kills 5: preliminary report

According to preliminary data, five people were killed in the Mi-2 military helicopter crash outside the eastern Ukrainian town of Kramatorsk, according to the speaker of the Ministry of Defense for ATO Alexander Motuzianyk.

Three helicopter crew members and two passengers were killed in the accident, Motuzianyk told 112 Ukraine TV channel.

The accident occurred after 15:00 Kyiv time.

”According to preliminary information, there are five dead: the three crew members and two passengers,” Motuzyanyk said.

According to him, an emergency team along with the officers from the ATO headquarters have been working at the crash site.

Earlier, a Mi-2 military helicopter had crashed near Kramatorsk, presumably after colliding with a power line.
