The Ukrainian foreign ministry predicts the introduction by the European Union of a tourist visa-free travel for Ukrainians before the beginning of the summer, as stated in the message by the ministry`s department of consular service via Twitter.
”From March 28, Georgian citizens will travel to EU countries without visas, and before the summer, Ukrainians will do, too,” the Ukrainian diplomats wrote.
Earlier, Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli said that Ukraine could be granted visa-free regime for tourists with the EU late June.
The next stage on the visa liberalization path for Ukraine will be a vote in the European Parliament, which is scheduled for April 6.
