Maryinka checkpoint resumes work after shelling

Ukrainian Border Guard Service spokesman Oleh Slobodian announces that in the morning of Friday, June 17, the Maryinka entry/exit checkpoint in eastern Ukraine resumed its work after militant shelling the day before.
”On Friday morning, all entry/exit checkpoints opened on time and are working in normal mode,” he told Ukrainian online newspaper Ukrainska Pravda.
As UNIAN reported earlier, at about 19:00 on June 16, the enemy started firing on the Maryinka entry/exit checkpoint, where two civilians were injured. The work of the checkpoint was suspended.
