Malaysian Boeing shot down by Russian missile – Poroshenko

Preliminary results of the investigation have confirmed that the Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 was shot down by a Russian missile.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said this during his visit to Australia, the presidential press service reported.
“Intelligence data indicates that the aircraft was downed with a missile launched from a Buk-M system that was brought from Russia into Donbas along with the crew,” Poroshenko said.
Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott supported his position.
“In the morning of July 17, Malaysia Airlines MH17 plane was shot down by militants supported by Russia,” he said, adding that the Ukrainian government’s assistance in organizing the work of Australian experts at the Boeing crash site was very important.
