Malaysian Boeing broke up in air due to damage from outside – report

During the investigation into the crash of the Boeing 777 passenger plane, which occurred in eastern Ukraine, there were no indications that the MH17 crash was caused by a technical fault or by actions of the crew. The plane broke up in the air as a result of structural damage from outside.
This is stated in a preliminary report released by the Dutch Safety Board on Tuesday, Ukrinform’s correspondent reported.
“Flight MH17 with a Boeing 777-200 operated by Malaysia Airlines broke up in the air probably as the result of structural damage caused by a large number of high-energy objects that penetrated the aircraft from outside,” reads a press release to the report.
