Latvia to take for treatment two more Ukrainians

Latvia on Wednesday will take for treatment in Riga two Ukrainian soldiers who were seriously injured in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in eastern Ukraine, the Latvian Embassy in Ukraine told Ukrinform.
“Two soldiers who participated in the anti-terrorist operation in Ukraine will arrive in Riga from the Ukrainian city of Dnipropetrovsk on August 6,” the statement reads.
In Latvia, the Ukrainian military will be given the necessary medical care, they will also undergo rehabilitation at Pauls Stradins Clinical University Hospital and National Rehabilitation Centre Vaivari.
An agreement on the treatment of the wounded soldiers in Latvia was reached during the recent visit of the Latvian Foreign Ministry to Dnipropetrovsk region.
Earlier, eight Ukrainians injured during riots in Kyiv underwent treatment in Latvia.
