The members of the Kyiv City Council supported the appeal of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the UN, the European Parliament, the PACE, the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE, the NATO and the GUAM, as well as the Parliaments of foreign states on declaring Russia the aggressor.
105 members of the Kyiv City Council have voted for the decision on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The Kyiv City Council supports the appeal of the Verkhovna Rada, in accordance with which the Russian Federation is recognized as a source of aggression and the aggressor state,” Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko said.
