Kryukivsky Railcar Building Plant boosts production by 6 times

PJSC Kryukivsky Railcar Building Plant in January-March 2016 increased the production of freight railcars by 5.9 times year-over-year, or by 64 railcars, to 77 units, as stated in the company`s report submitted to the city executive committee in Kremenchuk.

It is noted that the plant did not produce any passenger railcars in the reporting period.
As UaPosition reported earlier, Kryukivsky Railcar Building Plant last year reduced the output of freight railcars by 83%, or by 1,996 wagons, to 410 units as compared to 2014.

In 2015, the plant did not produce any passenger cars. At the same time, the plant upgraded 25 subway cars for the Kyiv Metro, and produced five new railcars. In September 2015, the plant sold a diesel train (consisting of three railcars) to Ukrzaliznytsia.

PJSC Kryukivsky Railcar Building Plant produces both freight railcars and social purpose transport – passenger railcars of locomotive traction, interregional and commuter EMUs, DMUs, underground cars, escalators, running gears for freight and passenger cars.
