Kremlin wants 100% guarantee that Ukraine won’t join NATO

Russia has called for “a 100% guarantee that no-one would think about Ukraine joining NATO.”
Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said this in an interview with the BBC.
According to Peskov, nobody has yet given such a guarantee, and this situation makes Moscow worry, makes it “troubled” and forces it to take precautions.
He also stressed that through its actions NATO “tried to disrupt the balance of power” and accused the West of trying to “encircle” Russia.
