Kolomoisky’s property arrested in Moscow

On Tuesday, September 2, the Russian Investigative Committee reported the arrest in Moscow of the property of Ukrainian businessman and Dnipropetrovsk Regional Governor Ihor Kolomoisky.
A respective resolution has been published on the website of the committee.
“For the purpose of stopping terrorist financing and other criminal acts in relation to civilians in southeastern Ukraine investigators are establishing information about the property of Ihor Kolomoisky both in Russia and abroad for the purpose of arresting it,” reads the statement.
The committee said that CJSC Elite Holding, of which Kolomoisky is a co-founder, owns an office building located in Moscow, “and the income received from the lease of premises in this building could be used by Kolomoisky to finance criminal activity in southeastern Ukraine.”
