Klitschko tells for whom light will be disabled in Kyiv

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that short-term power outage in Kyiv will apply only to companies that are not important for the livelihood of the city.
It is reported by the TV channel “112”.
“Electricity will not be turned off for people in their homes,” the mayor said, adding about his daily talks with the leadership of Kyivenergo on these issues.
Also, the mayor reminded that relevant utilities were instructed to test the ability of power lines to sustain an increase in supply load on them.
“I also approached the people of Kyiv – in particular, residents of old houses – to check the power lines in the apartments. Today, according to available information, we have to endure the increase in work load,” the mayor noted.
In addition, Klitschko said that currently 4% of houses in the capital do not have hot water.
“Where there is no water, it is connected with repair works. And I’m sure that soon we will solve these problems,” the head of the Kyiv City State Administration said.
Earlier, Klitschko said that within two days all people of Kyiv will have hot water.
