Klimkin will speak about Donbas in Brussels

Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin on Monday started a two-day visit within the frames of the Ukrainian delegation, headed by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, to the EU institutions in Brussels.
During the visit, Klimkin will hold a series of meetings with the officials of the European Commission (EC) to discuss the implementation of the peaceful plan of the President of Ukraine and Minsk agreements in Donbas, the MFA press service informs.
“Pavlo Klimkin will meet with Vice President of the European Commission on Energy Union Maros Sefcovic and hold bilateral discussions with individual Foreign Ministers of the EU countries, EU Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn. The parties will address key developments in the east of Ukraine in the context of implementation of the peaceful plan of President Poroshenko and implementation of Minsk agreements,” a statement reads.
In addition, within the frames of the Ukrainian delegation, Klimkin will participate in the inaugural meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Council.
During the visit, Klimkin’s participation is scheduled in the meeting of the “Group of Friends of Ukraine in the EU + Ukraine” at the level of the EU Foreign Ministers, to be held on the eve of a meeting of the EU Council of Ministers on foreign affairs.
