IS plot to bomb Three Lions supporters when England play Russia at Euro 2016

IS fanatics are plotting to use suicide bombers, guns and even drones carrying chemical weapons to attack Three Lions fans in Marseille when England play Russia at Euro 2016, according to The Sun.
Police say data found on a laptop used by Salah Abdeslam, mastermind of the Paris and Brussels attacks, outlines a plan to target England supporters as they gather in the city for the June 11 clash, The Sun reports.
It is feared followers of Abdeslam are determined to continue with his bomb plot despite his capture.
UK security chiefs also fear IS may try to gun down England supporters as they enjoy a drink in bars outside the official fanzone.
A senior Whitehall source said: ”What they might attempt outside of the secure zones is what worries us most.
”Bars full of happy, drunk blokes are a very soft target.
”We are working extremely closely with the French.”
Photos and references to Marseille`s historic Old Port, where Three Lions fans will gather in two weeks` time for England`s opening game, were found on a laptop following a raid on one of Abdeslam`s safe houses in Brussels.
The laptop also contained information suggesting a plot to kill large numbers of fans using AK47s, suicide bombers and possibly even drones armed with chemical weapons.
Tens of thousands of England fans will flood into the Old Port area and its many bars and restaurants.
The official Euro 2016 fanzone where England supporters without tickets will watch the match on a giant screen is a short distance away at Prado Beach.
France is still on maximum terror alert following the Paris attacks in November.
But while football stadiums and fanzones will have high security it is impossible to fully protect all nearby bars.
Abdeslam`s laptop was seized during a police raid in Brussels in March.
A few days later he was shot in the leg and captured in the nearby suburb of Molenbeek.
He was seized a week before his terror cell murdered 32 people in a gun and bomb attack on Brussels Airport and a tube station — an atrocity he is thought to have helped plan.
A security source in Belgium yesterday said Marseille`s Old Port was at the top of a hit list of targets on the laptop.
The source said: ”This can only mean plans were being drawn up to attack England and Russia fans before the game.
”Abdeslam is under lock and key but there are others at large who are equally fanatical and could strike.
”England and Russia fans are obvious targets, because both countries are bombing IS in Syria and Iraq.
”Drones are mentioned on the computer but it`s not clear how they might have been used in an attack — possibly armed with chemical weapons.
”A more conventional Paris-style assault on thousands of fans in bars before the game is seen as much more likely.
”Most of the information was contained in Abdeslam`s personal testament setting out his wishes in the event of death.”
The computer information will be a key piece of evidence at Abdeslam`s trial next year.
The business district of Brussels, Toulouse airport, and the EU Parliament in Strasbourg were also on the list.
