A meeting of the IMF Executive Board to discuss the disbursement of another tranche to Ukraine will be held on August 29.
Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Valeria Hontareva told this to reporters on Friday, a Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“The IMF Executive Board [meeting] was planned for August 22. However, in Washington I met with [IMF Managing Director] Christine Lagarde, who supports us, and I know that she wants to open the Executive Board [meeting] on [August] 29. Therefore, it will be held on [August] 29,” Hontareva said.
She added that Ukraine had fulfilled all conditions for receiving the second tranche of the IMF loan.
