Hungary stands for peace and tranquility in the Ukraine. Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban said, who is on an official visit to Zakarpattia.
The press service of the Zakarpattia Regional Council told a Ukrinform correspondent.
“Hungary supports the idea that the situation in Ukraine was stable. We need a strong neighbor. We are committed that peace and tranquility was in your country,” the press service quoted Orban.
He said that during the talks with the leaders of the region he proposed to develop the projects, which with financial support from Hungary will be implemented in Zakarpattia region in the coming years.
“We are ready to further cooperation and support. Our doors are always open for you. Hungary provides and will continue to provide its full support to Ukraine and Zakarpattia, in particular,” Orban assured.
During the visit to Zakarpattia, Hungarian politician will attend the opening of the new building of the Zakarpattia Hungarian Institute and the inauguration of the academic year for students in the premises of the Reformed Church in Beregove.
