GUAM member states one step closer to free trade

During a summit in Kyiv, Representatives of GUAM (Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Moldova) signed a protocol to the free trade agreement on the creation of a joint coordination body within the treaty`s framework.

A protocol on the recognition of certain types of customs procedures in respect of goods and vehicles moving across state borders of GUAM member states was signed as well, an UNIAN correspondent reports.

Earlier, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said he expected to launch a free trade area between GUAM states (Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Moldova) in 2017.

Kyiv is hosting the summit of member countries of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development of GUAM (Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldova).
