Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman and President of Turkey agree on different economic projects

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman and President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan have agreed on intensive economic cooperation between the two countries during the prime minister`s official visit to Ankara, according to the Ukrainian Cabinet website.

Groysman boasted Ukraine`s complete cycle of design and production of passenger and transport aircraft, namely An-148/158. This experience can be used in the project for creating a Turkish medium-haul aircraft, he said.

The prime minister urged the Turkish side to closer interaction in the energy sector, in particular, the attraction of Ukrainian companies to the construction and modernization of gas storage facilities.

The talks also focused on the cooperation in the transport sector. It was decided to expand air communication network between the two countries, including opening new flights from Ukraine to Antalya and Izmir.

Groysman also noted the need to hold the 11th meeting of the bilateral intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation in Ankara before the end of 2017.
