Germany opens Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine

State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy Matthias Machnig has announced that Germany has opened the German Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine to represent German business interests and help attract investment.

The statement was made during the Ukrainian-German Business Forum which is held in Kyiv.

Machnig urged the business community to use the Chamber`s expertise and its contacts to forge cooperation both in Ukraine and worldwide. Machnig also noted that the chambers of commerce are very important for networking and finding investors who would operate on the Ukrainian market in the coming years.
