Gap between People’s Front and Poroshenko Bloc widens with over 46% of ballots counted

The Central Election Commission has processed 46.81% of electronic protocols from precinct election commissions, according to the commission’s website.
Arseniy Yatseniuk’s People’s Front Party holds the lead, with 21.63% of the vote. It is followed by the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko, with 21.47% of the vote. Samopomich Union is third, with 11.13% of the vote.
The Opposition Bloc garnered 9.75% of the vote, Oleh Liashko’s Radical Party – 7.37%, and Batkivshchyna – 5.7%.
Svoboda (4.68%), the Communist Party (3.92%), Anatoliy Hrytsenko’s Civil Position Party (3.19%), Serhiy Tihipko’s Strong Ukraine (3.12%), Zastup (2.82%) and Right Sector (1.87%) have not passed the 5% electoral threshold.
The remaining parties collected less than 1% of the vote.
