FTA between Canada, Ukraine to be signed Jul 11-12

The Ukrainian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade expects to sign the free-trade zone deal between Ukraine and Canada during an official visit to Kyiv of Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau on July 11-12, the ministry`s press service reports.
”Justin Trudeau has confirmed his intention to visit Ukraine on an official visit on July11-12. It is expected that Ukraine and Canada will sign an agreement on a free trade zone in Kyiv,” the report says.
According to First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Serhiy Kubiv, Canada is one of the key strategic partners of Ukraine.
”Canada is a special country for Ukraine: a strategic partner for the state, a strategic friend for the people, and a strategic relative to the millions of Ukrainian families,” Kubiv said.
Earlier, Trudeau said that the signing of the Agreement on free trade zone with Ukraine and the implementation of this Agreement was one of the priorities of the Government of Canada.
