Foreign Ministry: Russia not approved fourth “humanitarian convoy” with Ukraine

Russia has not approved the assignment of the fourth “humanitarian convoy” with the Ukrainian side.
Foreign Ministry Spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis said, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“We do not have any official information about the intention of the Russian Federation to send another “convoy” to Ukraine. “If the Russian Federation has these intentions, we call on it to act in accordance with international law, in accordance with the laws of Ukraine,” the diplomat said.
He stressed that the delivery of the “humanitarian convoy” from Russia to Ukraine requires the consent of the Ukrainian side, which has to hold all control procedures provided by the law. Perebyinis once again reminded that Russia also has to cooperate with the International Committee of the Red Cross, which is the only organization that, according to the diplomat, can carry out the delivery and distribution of the Russian “humanitarian convoy.”
“We urge Russia not to perform illegal acts, as it demonstrated in the previous three “convoys” the diplomat said.
He also noted that Russia has not provided any clarification regarding unlawful delivery of three previous “humanitarian convoys.”
