Foreign Ministry does not rule out termination of diplomatic relations with Russia

A pragmatic approach must be to the issue of termination of diplomatic relations with Russia, but we “cannot rule out any scenario.”
Deputy Foreign Minister Danylo Lubkivsky said on air of the Hromadske TV.
“The consequence of the termination of diplomatic relations will be to stop a dialogue. Then this dialogue will take place through intermediaries. We must treat this very practically – to distinguish between the emotion and our national interest,” the UNN quoted his explanation.
“The hybrid war” being waged by Russia, showed that international institutions that are designed to protect global security should be developed much more quickly, the Deputy Minister is convinced.
“Russia, by breaking the Budapest Memorandum, challenged nuclear safety too,” Lubkivsky said.
According to the Deputy Minister, Ukraine will speak about this at the UN General Assembly.
