Illegal armed groups have committed nine provocations over the past 24 hours against the Ukrainian anti-terrorist operation forces who sustained losses.
The spokesman for the information and analytical center of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), Andriy Lysenko, said this at a briefing on Friday.
“Five Ukrainian soldiers have been killed and seven more have sustained injuries in the anti-terrorist operation zone over the past 24 hours,” he said.
According to Lysenko, the situation in the conflict zone has not significantly changed. Militants continue to actively redeploy manpower and equipment and strengthen their firing positions. The arrival of new equipment and forces of the enemy from Russia is being recorded, Lysenko said.
