Five leaders of ”amber mafia” arrested – Matios

Kyiv Holosiivskiy District Court has arrested all five leaders of the ”amber mafia” in Rivne region, who had been detained on Monday, July 4, Chief Military Prosecutor of Ukraine Anatoliy Matios wrote on Facebook.
The court also set a bail ranging between UAH 2.7 million and UAH 9.5 million for different members of the criminal group.
”All five suspected organizers and leaders of the criminal organization in the ”amber” case have been arrested by the judges of Kyiv Holosiivskiy District Court, with the bail set at UAH 2.7 mln-UAH 9.5 mln,” Matios said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, a special operation ”Amber” was underway in Rivne region, involving 300 investigators from the Interior Ministry and the SBU Security Service of Ukraine. Searches of residences and offices of suspects are continuing.
