Finance Ministry, supported by PwC, to get internal reform underway

Ukraine`s Finance Ministry, with support from Pricewaterhouse Coopers, one of the world`s largest consulting companies, will begin implementation of a project on internal transformation to improve the ministry`s performance.
The project is expected to streamline internal processes, improve internal communication and enhance staff accountability, the ministry`s press service reported, adding that the project will not have any budgetary expenses since it is being funded by international donors.
Pointing to the necessity for change, Finance Minister Oleksandr Danylyuk stressed on the ministry`s role as a driver of reforms.
”We want to see internal transformation at the Finance Ministry so that it can become a model for other state bodies,” the minister said.
The initial steps in this direction may be undertaken as early as next week.
