Finance Ministry borrows almost UAH 1 billion on internal market

The Finance Ministry of Ukraine placed government bonds at over UAH 974 million.
The press service of the Ministry informed.
“By results of holding the planned placement of government bonds on October 7, 2014, UAH 974.217 million was attracted to the state budget,” a statement reads.
The Finance Ministry satisfied two bids from investors for the purchase of annual bonds in the hryvnia with the yield of 17.5% and one bid for the purchase of two-year government bonds in the national currency with the yield of 16.5%.
UAH 4.5 billion came to the state budget of Ukraine over August from placement of government bonds (since the beginning of the year – UAH 38.2 billion).
