Fifty trucks with Ukrainian goods bound for Kazakhstan stuck in Russia

About 50 trucks with Ukrainian goods to Kazakh companies, who were detained because of the new Russian restrictions, have been stuck in the Russian town of Smolensk, near the border with Belarus, BusinessCensor reports, with reference to the press service of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan.
It is noted that 10 out of the 50 vehicles are owned by Kazakh carriers.
The trucks crossed the external border of the EAEC before July 1 and arrived at the Krasnoe checkpoint on June 30, according to the report.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on July 4, Russia imposed additional restrictions on the transit of Ukrainian goods through its territory.
In particular, the current restrictions earlier imposed on Ukrainian goods heading to Kazakhstan now apply to transits to the Kyrgyz Republic.
The legislative changes also provide for a complete ban of transit of embargoed goods.
