EU-Ukraine Association Council to hold first meeting on December 15

The first meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Council is tentatively scheduled for December 15 in Kyiv.
Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Ostap Semerak said this at a briefing in Kyiv on Monday, a Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“The first meeting of the EU-Ukraine Council is preliminarily to be held on December 15 in the city of Kyiv,” he said.
He said that the Ukrainian part of the council, according to the Association Agreement, is formed by all members of the Cabinet of Ministers and the European side by EU commissioners.
“I have high hopes for the first meeting of the EU-Ukraine Council, because this is a political body that will take political decisions and coordinate the entire process of European integration for the next few years,” Semerak said.
