EU can prolong sanctions against citizens, entities for aggression against Ukraine next week: journalist

The European Union is set to prolong the asset freeze and visa bans on citizens and entities involved in the aggression in Donbas, according to Rikard Jozwiak, Brussels reporter for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.

”EU amb looks set to next week prolong asset freeze and visa bans on 146 citizens and 37 entities from Ukraine, Russia, Crimea by 6 months,” he tweeted on Thursday, August 31.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has extended and expanded the list of personal sanctions against those involved in or suspected of criminal activities against the sovereignty of Ukraine and the inviolability of its borders and those who finance terrorism.
