EU makes secret out of debate on recognition of “DPR” and “LPR” terrorists

The EU continues discussion on recognition of so-called “DPR” and “LPR” terrorist organizations, but at this stage information is confidential.
The Permanent Mission of Spain to the EU Council told a Ukrinform correspondent in Brussels in response to a written request.
“As you know, any discussions that take place on the eve of the final decision on the inclusion of individuals and groups to the list of organizations that the EU recognizes as terrorist is secret and confidential,” Spanish diplomats explained.
Permanent representations of some other member states to the European Union stated about a similar position.
“On the eve, the Political and Security Committee discussed recognition of the “DPR “and “LPR” terrorist organizations. Many countries have different opinions about it. Therefore, the discussion will continue,” the source in European diplomatic circles said.
As reported, Ukraine at various levels, including the highest political, repeatedly appealed to the international community, including democratic states, the leading international organizations to recognize the so-called “DPR” and “LPR” terrorist organizations.
