The Justice and Home Affairs (JHA) Council of the European Union will consider the liberalization of the visa regime with Ukraine in a package with Georgia on May 11, according to Brussels reporter for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty Rikard Jozwiak.
”Visa liberalization for Ukraine and Georgia are not on the agenda of JHA council today. Both items to be discussed in Council visa working group on May 11,” he tweeted on Thursday, April 21.
As UaPosition reported earlier, on April 20, the European Commission announced that it had put forth a legislative proposal concerning visa liberalization for Ukraine.
