EU gives Ukraine over EUR 60 mln for displaced persons and Donbas

The EU and individual member states have collected EUR 63 million to provide financial and humanitarian aid to Ukrainian citizens temporarily displaced from the occupied territories and the area of the anti-terrorist operation, as well as to rebuild infrastructure in Donbas, Ukraine’s Mission to the EU has told a Ukrinform correspondent.
“The total amount of the funds collected by the EU for Ukraine today is 63 million euros,” Ukrainian diplomats said.
The issue concerns the attraction of EU financial and humanitarian assistance for Ukrainian citizens temporarily displaced from the occupied territories and the area of the anti-terrorist operation, as well as for the restoration of infrastructure in Donbas.
