EU decides to expand ‘black list’ of Donbas separatists

The European Union is planning to expand personal sanctions against separatists operating in eastern Ukraine by the end of November 2014.
The EU Foreign Affairs Council made such a decision on Monday, Ukrinform’s correspondent in Brussels reported.
“Having assessed the situation on the ground, the Council calls on the EEAS and the [European] Commission to present a proposal for decision by the end of this month on additional listings targeting separatists,” read the Council conclusions on Ukraine.
The EU Council said that it would continue to closely follow the situation in eastern Ukraine and would act accordingly.
