Economy Ministry forecasts top 100 state-owned companies` aggregate profit at UAH20 bln

First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Yuliya Kovaliv said the aggregate profit of the top 100 state-owned companies in 2016 could reach more than UAH20 billion, in comparison with a loss of UAH42.6 billion in 2015.
”We expect that the aggregate profit [of the top 100 state-owned companies] will exceed UAH20 billion. That means we will literally have very few companies, two companies, if I`m not mistaken, that may incur losses in 2016,” she stated.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the top 100 state-owned Ukrainian companies in 2015 posted a loss of UAH42.6 billion. They transferred UAH2.5 billion in dividends to the state budget and UAH6 billion in net profit.
