Ukraine and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) have signed a loan agreement on the modernization of the Ukrainian gas transport system (GTS).
The signing ceremony was held in Brussels on Monday during Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk’s visit, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
The agreement envisions the raising of $200 million for the reconstruction and modernization of the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod gas pipeline between Ukraine and the EBRD.
