Donbas ”truce”: Militants use heavy artillery, combat drone

The combined Russian-separatist forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in eastern Ukraine 24 times in the past 24 hours, using heavy artillery and an unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV), according to the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) headquarters.
Late in the evening, the militants grossly violated the ceasefire and for over an hour were firing 152mm artillery systems on ATO positions near the village of Slavne in the Mariupol sector. In the same direction, the enemy fired 120mm mortars on the Ukrainian fortified positions near the village of Novotroyitske, heavy machine guns near the village of Hranitne, as well as rocket-propelled grenades near the village of Pavlopil.
The occupiers continue shelling of the Ukrainian fortified positions near the town of Avdiyivka, using 82mm and 120mm mortars, as well as rocket-propelled grenades and small arms.
In Luhansk region, the enemy fired rocket-propelled grenades and heavy machine guns several times on ATO positions near the villages of Triokhizbenka and Stanytsia Luhanska.
In addition, during this period, the Ukrainian army recorded three reconnaissance overflights by enemy drones. One of them was a UCAV, which attacked one of the Ukrainian units by dropping bombs.
