Donbas not to influence Ukraine’s foreign policy – Poroshenko

Individual regions will not unilaterally determine the external or internal policy of the Ukrainian state, and this also applies to certain districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions that will be granted a special status.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said this in an interview with leading national television channels, Ukrinform reported.
“There are and there will be no super-powers there [in some districts of Donbas]. There are and there can be no issues when any territory of Ukraine may influence foreign or domestic policy and jeopardize sovereignty, territorial integrity or unity,” he said.
He said that these issues “are not put up for auction.”
“Ukraine does not sell independence,” Poroshenko said, adding that now a war is going on for Ukraine’s independence.
