Donbas militants keep tanks, Grad launchers near Makiyivka, Donetsk – intel

The Ukrainian side has informed the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) about combat tanks, artillery systems, self-propelled artillery systems and 122mm Grad multiple rocket launch systems being kept by Donbas militants near the city of Donetsk, the town of Makiyivka, and the villages of Kreminets, Yasne, Oleksandryna (all in Donetsk region), and Novosvitlivka (in Luhansk region), according the Ukrainian Defense Ministry`s intelligence department.
”The enemy is maintaining the combat readiness of its troops, rotates and beefs up the units at the front line, supplies ammunition and improves engineering facilities at the front,” the Ukrainian intelligence service wrote on Facebook.
In particular, the defensive positions around the militant-occupied city of Luhansk are being improved in the direction of Novoaidar by the units of the 2nd separate motorized rifle brigade (Luhansk) and the separate engineer squadron of the 2nd Army Corps (Luhansk) of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Mines are being planted near the 2nd separate motorized rifle brigade`s positions at the front line near the village of Novokyivka.
In the Donetsk sector, units of the 11th separate motorized rifle regiment (Makiyivka) of the 1st Army Corps (Donetsk) of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation stationed in Donetsk received new ammunition. Units of the 100th separate motorized rifle brigade (Donetsk) of the 1st Army Corps of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation plan to build and reinforce new positions.
The Ukrainian intelligence service also reported about the enemy`s activities in the Mariupol sector. In particular, a unit of a separate reconnaissance battalion (Donetsk) of the 1st Army Corps of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation was relocated to the area hosting the 9th separate assault motorized rifle regiment of the naval infantry (Novoazovsk) of the 1st Army Corps of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
