The Defense Ministry of Ukraine denies the information that Russian hackers destroyed Ukrainian artillery weapons

The Defense Ministry of Ukraine denies reports about the information that 80% of D-30 howitzers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have been destroyed by Russian hackers associated with the Russian government and high-profile cyber attacks against Democrats during the Presidential election in the U.S.

“The information of the Command of Missile Troops and Artillery of the Ukrainian Ground Forces is that losses in artillery weapons during the Anti-Terrorist operation were way below those reported [by the media, which claimed 80% of D-30 howitzers were lost] and have nothing to do with the stated cause,” said the Defense Ministry of Ukraine.

“Now the military units of the missile troops and artillery of the AFU Land Forces are fully combat-ready, equipped and able to carry out tasks as directed,” stated the Defense Ministry.
