Possible date of postponed EU-Ukraine summit in Brussels revealed

An EU-Ukraine summit in Brussels, which has earlier been postponed, may be held on November 24, 2016, according to Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty reporter Rikard Jozwiak.

”The EU-Ukraine summit in Brussels is likely to take place at the end of November, possibly on the 24th,” he tweeted on Tuesday, October 4.

Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin earlier expressed hope that the EU-Ukraine summit would be held late in October or in November.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the 18th summit between Ukraine and the EU in Brussels, which was originally scheduled for May 19, was first slated for September 2016.

Some media reported that the summit could take place in October or November, and its date depends on agreements on EU visa-free travel for Ukraine.
